The 350 did not appear until 1958. All 1958 engines would have an ID letter prefix of "L". In 1957, the Dodge engine choices were flathead 6, a poly 325 CID ("KDS" prefix), and the 325 Hemi ("KD500" prefix). There was also a Chrysler hemi (354 CID) offered as a "KD501" option.
