There were 4 engines available for Dodge in 1959: 230 ci. "Powerflow" flathead six, 326 ci. "Red Ram" V-8 with Carter 2 bbl, 361 "Ram Fire" V-8 with 2 or four barrel and D500 383 V-8 with four barrel or dual four barrels. The six is obvious, the 326 looks like a wideblock 318 and has slightly scalloped valve covers, with distributor in the rear and is painted red as I recall. The 361 and 383 look identical - distributor in the front and if memory serves, the 361 was painted red and the 383 was painted gold - someone on the list will have to confirm that. Congrats on your wagon. Wagons are cool!!! I have a 58 Plymouth Deluxe Suburban with a flathead six and Powerflite. Cheers. Mark
