I do not see any real issues, provided you graft out the old regulator wiring from the circuit. You can pretty much just tape up the unsed wiring into the harness. One possible problem could be the AMMETER, depending on how much current your alternator puts out. If you have a 30 Amp Ammeter and a 100 Amp Alternator, you will smoke it. In this case, you would need to change the ammeter to one that will handle the current, or have a shop change the shunt to take the current.
