Jason, i know we didnt get along in the past, but hear me now...your cap has to be the vented kind! I put an unvented cap on my 59 Ply, then drove it 150 highway miles...when I got to my destination, I wondered why the gas gauge still read full...one look under the car explained it...the vacuum pull of the fuel pump had collapsed the fuel tank! it ruined the tank and left me stranded. You MUST use a vented cap! I hope I have been clear on this...
