Location: bishop, ca | ..one year ago, today, on 6/11/07, I and my 3-car car-avan was enroute to Tulsaville; we spent
that MON night in Albuquerque, before driving ANOTHER 13 hours, to arrive, late, in
Tulsa, on TUES, 6/12/07.
On WED, 6/13/07, at about 9:00 AM, those of us who had arrived, and who happened to be staying at the
Doubletree Hotel, happened to walk over to the Tulsa County Courthouse, and happened
to walk into HISTORY, as, un-announced, the City was in the process of removing the cover-
lids, from the Vault, exposing Miss Belvedere to the World for the first time in 50 years.
Wow....

Location: bishop, ca | ....it rained, sometimes heavily, that day.
It was kinda fun, being exposed to RAIN, on that trip (it never rains in Southern
California).

| Happy Anniversary, Tulsarama Travelers!
My wife and I were remembering the trip this morning.
Made friends in Tulsa that I'll never forget!
Here's to a Central US Reunion sometime in the not-so-distant future.
(I'll bring the 'shine.)

Location: bishop, ca | It TOOK something as unique as that once-in-a-lifetime event to bring us together.
No one can claim that they weren't informed, or invited !
The multi-day driving event madethe event special, too: the sense of PURPOSE in going somewhere, instead of just taking
a day-trip to some routine function, or car show...
There's NOTHING to compare with travelling in your car for several days, to really get comfortable in its ability to soldier-on
and to bring you back home, again.

Location: P la P, Man | Hi Y'all! Glad to see everyone still kicking. Doesn't seem like a year has gone by!.......THIS June 15th, I entered my 2nd car show, held by the local Vintage Cruisers club, and won the $50 Chrysler sponsor's prize! (I must add I saw only 2 other Mopars there!) So I had enough to pay for the gas to go back across town. hehehehe

Location: P la P, Man | I put a photo album with our Tulsa pix on the car. I'd say about half the people I talked to had heard about Miss B. Several went "Aaaaawww" when they saw her; again when I told them her mileage. - Rob

Location: bishop, ca | well, can you imagine the Hoopla that would be surrounding Ms. B., right now, if she had been safely/properly entombed, and
would have come out of her 50 year slumber in like-new condition?????
Of, course, then, the Boydster's boyz woulda had a field day with her, cleaning her, and changing-out her OEM fluids,
and doing burn-outs in the Connie Center, and taking all kinds of credit over her un-earthment, and over her great condition.
