Location: Montreal, Canada | Hi,
My car (1959 Dodge Custom Sierra) was originally bought at GLEN HEAD MOTORS, 671 Glen Cove ave., NY
Is the dealer still in service? Does anybody have late 1958-1959 pictures of this dealer??
Mr. James E. Minten is the original buyer of the car and took delivery at the dealership on March 17, 1959.
I have the original owner manual, service certificate and dealer envelope.
Mr. Minten move to California around 1960-61 from service receipt that I have.
Does anybody know were to look to find if a person still reside at a certain address or if that person is still alive?????
I would love to speak to the original owner, of course.
Thanks.

Location: Kingston Springs , TN | Try Zabasearch. They list a James D. Minten in Arbuckle, California but he was born in 1956...maybe a son?

Location: Tacoma, WA | It looked like Google image seach had something, but the link to a possible image no longer works. I've contacted local libraries to find info, and they can usually provide things like an ad from the yellow pages. If you're lucky they might have a photo archive.
Is this the town?

(The library's new, but maybe they can at least point you in the right direction - perhaps a regional library with local databases.)
The dealership address now comes up as a Goodyear tire/U-Haul place.
Google Earth brings up a pretty clear satellite photo.
I'm finding that our cars are old enough that the original owners passed, and unless the last nameis unusual, it can be difficult.
