We welcome folks for tours through our salvage yard, but we are near Sacramento, which is a seven hour drive from Los Angeles.

Location: Los Angeles, CA | Always lots of happenings in the fall. Here's a site that lists most of the shows in the area... check back closer to the dates you'll be traveling for more listings.

Location: Nokia, Finland | thanks Mel and Big M.
There seems to be huge amount of these cruises and shows. It's shame that we have only ~10 days vacation , but we are going to be as many cruises as possible.
And Big M, I'm hoping that we can/have time to come to your salvage yard. |

Location: Yorba Linda, Ca | The "Fall Fling" is the largest Mopar Show west of the Mississippi.
You are welcome to come visit me, and I will introduce you to Börje,
who has a 59 Dodge D500 Convertible and also I can probably
get you over to see Aivar's collection of Mopars (He has many)
Maybe we can ride out to the Fall Fling in My 59 Dodge Convertible.
I live near Disneyland, Jörgen-from Sweden came to see me,
as did Jim Hoek from Holland.

Location: Los Angeles, CA | If you're staying near Hollywood, you will have to go to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank on Friday nights for the cruise in. I recommend going there for the cars, and eating at Papoo's Hot Dog Show across the street. The service is faster and the food is better!

Location: Nokia, Finland | Hey, This is litlle bit offtopic but could you help me a little. I'm going to suprise my fiance and looking for the place to take her in near Beverly. We have car so travelling is not the problem.
Little day trip would be great, where we could see cars and something other great places + dining. We have never been in California or in the USA. (We are huge USA fans)

Location: Belgium, 40 miles south of Brussels | I hope you're going to make more than one trip out of LA !
Frankly, the best things to see in southwest US are the national parks and the likes.
Two weeks only in LA might be a little bit boring once you made all the fancy stuff ...

Location: So. Cal | Looks like a local club event, but should be fun. I am somewhat close to Ventura - about 45 min southward. If you decide to go to this, I could meet up with you as well.
There are some nice museums around LA if you are into that. There is a really nice free museum called the "Getty Center" (no cars, just art), the "Petersen Automotive Museum" that costs money, but is probably worth the admission, a free automotive museum in Sylmar I will have to look up the name if you are interested. Would you like to go to a dragstrip? There are a couple of them around here well outside the city.
The best old car wrecking yard in this neck of the woods is called "Memory Lane Auto Parts" and is in Paramount near LA. They have a website you can check out.
I don't get out much so I am not really the best one to advise on fun things to do, but feel free to email me at nnuttall@orbitslightwave.com if you like. |
