I had a graphic image, with dimensions, of the tool for the iron TF rollers but Windows 7 won't show it...anybody got one they can post. |

Got it now
I dont have that tool, but you are talking about the part with those rectangular springs and the rollers (I think)
I had a hard time trying to work out how to put the stupid things in, then it occured to me that they can be pinned back from the undersige of the cup.
I think I used 3/16 pop rivets to hold the rollers back, while I put the armature in
From memory, it took a couple of goes, but it worked

Location: Chestertown, NY ( near Lake George) | I made one up using the pics a model, used a wood base plate and cut the fingers out of sheet metal, used the sprag retainer as a template. |

Yes i've one and in metal !!!!! It's a guy who made it but you can use what you want as support. Here are old pics i can made new with extra dimensions (o.d diameter)

Thanks, Phil. I've got a digital readout on my milling machine that can be programmed to drill multi-hole circle patterns...wanna give it a try one of these days. |

What is the pin leanth and I assume the diameter of the pins are the same as the holes around the outside of the disc?

Location: Muskego, WI | That's my old drawing, glad it's been put to good use. I just used 3/16 rod I bought at Menards and pressed them into the hub that I made out of a big piece of delron. My pins were about 3.5 inches long and I rounded the heads to prevent any scratching to the sprag rollers. |

| Well thanks guys! I think I'm going to try the "nails in a piece of 2x4" method first. It's only gotta work once, if it does I'll keep it and hope it does again IF I ever need it again. I'm not lazy and I've even got a mill, lathe, set up plate etc, but all that stuff out in the building that DOESN'T have heat! LOL, the the wood and nails idea sound like it's worth a try, but I suspect I'll be firing up the mill tonight...in my mittens. Does your typical 3/16 drill bit leave enough meat to hold a piece of 3/16 rod stock?
