Location: Alabama | I am wanting to get rid of the points in my 1958 plymouth, with 318 poly, and i saw on ebay, that they make an Hei distributor, to work in the newer 318 engine, i think it is the LA engine. Would that distributor work in the older 318 wide block engines? Just seems if it would, it would be an easy way to make it electronic ignition. Thanks for any info on this. |

Location: Tampa, FL | A 318 LA distributor will work in a 318 poly. I'm running the LA distributor with a Pertronix EI conversion in my 58. |
