61 Windsor turn signal not working on the right side only

tberd62 Posted 2020-08-06 5:09 PM (#601741) Subject: 61 Windsor turn signal not working on the right side only Veteran Posts: 206 Location: California I picked up a nice 61 Windsor 4DR HT last year and am just now getting it road worthy. The right side of the car will not flash when I engage the dash mounted signal lever. When I signal to the left everything flashes correctly. When I signal to the right, the front turn signal bulb turns on bright and the rear turn signal bulb goes out completely. I have tried new bulbs and both a different turn signal unit and a headlight switch unit with no change in the function. Any one have any experience with a similar problem or suggestions? I forgot to mention, while I was swapping out turn signal switches I noticed a spark when the mounting bracket touched ground. I confirmed with a test light that power was going back thru the switch housing and making it hot?
