Jan: What is the thread count on the stud and nut? 14? 20? 24? (per inch).

I think that the PN for the converter nut for a 59 Dodge (for example) is 675 594 but the 1959 Mopar Parts catalogue only lists 7/16" nuts with 14 and 20 threads per inch.

Any quality grade 8 7/16-20 nut will work fine.

7/16 x 20 5/8 on tool insted of 9/16 tool that is the regular nut you will find and the nut is higer then the nuts that is in the hardwerestir
