Nice car, I would love to place a bid. But I am curious what this will go for. Seems movie correct except 150mph speedo.

| you guys were a "BIT off" on your predictions
These things are only going up... harder and harder to find... Obviously his was insanely built custom...
But if idiots are paying 100k for POS Bronco repop trucks with a 5k mustang motor in it... 167k for an actual 58 car isnt crazy.

Location: Lubbock, TX | Oh if this were painted any other color it wouldn't have brought that. Definitely NOT an indicator of current 57-58 Plymouth Hardtop values. I think that Coral-colored one last week on Bring a Trailer for $54k was more routine...

Location: The Mile High City | The hammer must have fallen somewhere around $157,000. Is that a world record price for a '58 Plymouth? ... Nope! Concept Carz has the answer: $198,000 for a Fury

Location: Lubbock, TX | The $198k sale was for one of the actual cars built for the film, sold in 2015: https://www.classic.com/a/barrett-jackson-scottsdale-2015-ZpgJvWb/lo...
Then supposedly sold recently in 2020 for $275K: https://www.classic.com/a/saratoga-motorcar-auctions-fall-2020-PWxAL... |

Location: The Mile High City | Wow! $275,000 has got to be the world-record sale for any 1958 Plymouth regardless of model or bodystyle. |

| They are in the process of remaking the Christine movie. Better hold on to your 58's. No telling how many they will destroy making it. By the way, it is supposed to feature a 2dr sedan which is more true to the book. |

Location: The Mile High City | I recognize William Ostrander (Buddy) and Alexandra Paul (Leigh). I think Malcome Danare (Moochie) is in there. Who else among the cast? Is the guy with the long hair Trelawny - Steven Tash? Is the fella in the gray jacket John Carpenter?

Very true. Rich people cars never go down in value because there is ALWAYS a market for cars at the top. I'm talking about gull wing Mercedes, etc. Christine cars are generally not included in this group. Didn't this car start out as a 1957? I can predict that if you talk to the buyer in a year from now, he's gonna tell you all about how every feature on the car is factory original.
I'm pretty sure that Moochie is the guy with the long hair.
