WELL, doesn't everybody think that this Fxxx would just look WONDERFUL, if it 'only' were to be RESTORED???

Who wants to, or would ever pay MONEY, to go see, or buy a model, of some old bullet-riddled FORD (there; I said 'it')?

Lotsa them, already sitting in back yards and wrecking yards.

Seriously, right from the git-go (and, of course, before "the family" decided that they had to destroy the car, in
order to save it---apologies to Gen. Westmoreland)---I had said that some company would buy the Rights, from the
museum which would buy the car, and would begin reproducing the car in varying scale model sizes of it.

That could still happen, but only based upon the many PHOTOS which were taken of the car, in Tulsa.

It would have to be at least 1/24th scale.

Let GMP have at this, their 1/18 die cast are amazing, some even have roll down windows!

It would have to come in its own vault. Pre-filled with water and gunk, like a snow globe.

That CAN'T be her!!!!

The vent window is intact.

[Boyd's goons, breaking her vent window, after the hood was forced open].

I think the whole crew from Cotterpins should be there. That way you can break that busted, old, rickety, vent window over and over again. i also think the snow globe is a good idea too. YOu can watch it rust before your very eyes. Then again, Ultra One could send you some of their chemical to "Restore" it over and over then let it rust again.

Maybe reproduce it like it sits now.  All the neighborhood dogs love the car.

Heres a question prompted by Mikes post above

If miss B turned up for auction on ebay tomorrow, who would bid and how much would
you bid on her?

If this is a thread stealer, maybe it could be asked in a new thread (if it hasnt been already)

I'd bid about $155, strip all of the stainless and lenses off of her, and bury the bones.

It is a hard case. Obviously, it will never run and I think it is very delicate - so the typical old car market is hacked down to a precious few who could actually display it. Although we all remember it well, I think the world has largely forgotten it. Maybe somebody out there (who appreciates its story) would buy it for $5,000 to $20,000. It is hard to imagine that anyone in their right mind would pay over $25,000 for it.

One of our members, Parat11 - Max Sokolov - actually has the resources and ability to display it. If you asked Max how much he would pay to own it - I would guess that would be a pretty good estimate of what it is worth.

Needless to say, I would guess that the owner and UltraOne are way, way upside-down on it at this point.
