Hi from the other side of the pond
I have just bought over the web the 56 St. regis below. The only history i know is that although originally a Colorado car it is supposed to have spent many years in Newport Beach before going to West Hollywood area which is where i bought it from.
It would be great to hear from anyone who knows anything about this car and can give me more info.
Thanks

Have Chrysler Historical document the car for you. They should be able to tell you what dealership sold the car new as well as whether it came with the highly improbable combination of a black /white /red outer body and a blue and white interior.
Very pretty car!

Thanks Wayne, good suggestion, have just emailed them to see how much they want to sent build sheet info to UK.
I am told the paint and the interior are original and hadn't really thought about the combination but i will find out

I once owned a 1956 New Yorker St. Regis in those exact exterior colors and it had a gray and white interior. My car was purchased from the original owner in 1969, when it was still factory original.

What a beautiful sideline and fins those cars have - congratulations to your "new" car!

It's interesting what you say about your's having the same color scheme and with grey and white interior. Here is a picture of my dash which is grey and looks like it would match the grey/white upholstery rather than the blue(Teal?) and white in mine
