It is with mixed feelings I announce that I have sold our beloved 1956 Chrysler. It was a a part of our family for 10+ years and provided many good times . I Built "Betty Lou" from a 30 year entombment which had taken its toll. Into the 56 Chrysler we had at Tulsa. Pics are in "members rides" a few months ago. During that time I was a FL member and made many good friends , and people that are un-forgetable. Several I have met in person.
I sold Betty Lou to a person I met while on the way to Tulsa where we traveled to together. His Brother in Law is a current FL member. I will not mention his name in the event he wishes to be anonymous.
I am still into Mopars--finishing up a 1964 Dodge B body nostalgia mid 60's street and strip car. And recently aquired a 1968 Plymouth Sport Sattelite which if I live long enough, will be a tribute car to my 1968 Roadrunner 2 dr hdtp which I ordered new..the only new car I ever owned and had to part with it after just a short time. I loved that car !
I will not be totally gone , I will check in from time to time to see what the old timers are up to. Best wishes to all.........................MO

First order of business, take care of yourself. If you don't, nobody else will.

Be well, my friend.

Sorry to hear you sold the Chrysler. Is that why I didn't see it at Greaserama this year? I hope this is really just motivation to get that Dodge finished. Keep in contact old friend!

Well here's an "Incentive", to get your 64 Dodge done!

I bought this one new, when I was a 21 year old kid.
It has never been restored, just maintained, alto I did replace
the 426 Wedge with a 413, (bored to 420) and built to run on
89 Octane, and she goes like a scalded dawg! Rare also are
power windows, for a 64 Dodge.
Car was repainted the Original "Midnight Metallic Blue", about
25 years ago or so, and paint is still XLNT.

OK, "Nuff Said", get Yours Done NOW!!!!

Gary

Hang in there Steve, I still treasure the memories of meeting you folks on the way to Tulsa. what a great time we had! The Plymouth was sold last year and I have a great 68 Barracuda Formula S that I enjoy very much (especially the Air Conditioning). I'm still working on the 57 Dodge D100 so maintaining a Forwardlook connection. Hope to have it completed by spring. Good luck with your project and hope to see you someplace in the future.

Hi Dick, so good to hear from you. You remember Clive and his brother -in law Charlie from England ? They were on the Route 66 Caravan that you met up with in St. Louis. Charlie is the guy that bought our 56 Chrysler. I am glad he got it and I know he will cherish it. I certainly would like to meet again, do you go to Carlisle? Best wishes............Steve......................(MO)
