Location: Lower Mainland BC | I have new to me 1956 Dodge Custom Royal with the D-500 engine and brake package. It used to be owned by Allan Cruickshank who apparently was a well known car collector from New Westminster. I am interested in talking to anyone who remembers this white/dark blue/light blue 4 dr Custom Royal and/or has history on it.
I am in New Westminster. Not a kid. 65. (How in hell did that happen?)

Location: Invermere B.C. Canada - Rocky Mountains | Sorry, we just got electric power, phones, and roads two years ago here in the hinterlands mountains inland so we know nothing about the rest of the world.
Just wanted to say hello. |

That would be him on both counts.
Your signature photo intrigues me. Reminds me of a light green 55 or 56 V8 2dr Dodge wagon owned by either the Tallarico's or the McGarry's in Grand Forks in the summer of 1967. Another co-incidence?

Location: Invermere B.C. Canada - Rocky Mountains | Maybe, ......all I know for sure is that I got it from a guy in Trail that because of a car accident injury (lady cop on police cell phone rear end him) and he couldn't work on it, and he had got it from a motor cycle shop in the Okanagan (maybe Kelowna) and to show him that it ran and I guess this is common thing with bikes used a transfusion bag filled with gas hooked to the carb inlet line.
I was surfing goggle images looking at '56 suburban's and a picture of a identical one came up,......... it was the same car as I have,..... and the pix was from a previous for sale ad and the background looked ogopogo-ish . It is a cool car anyway, and I can't wait to get cuttin' and hacking........... if life would stop getting in the way.
