Hey Guys, 59 Chry speedo head. This is the 2nd time in 600 miles the speedo needle hangs up at 20 MPH. I didn't notice it until I was putting it in the garage from a short trip. What would be a good lube for this unit. I don't remember what I used the last time. There is a little tube like screw with a felt on the end of it. But it is really difficult to get to. And taking it out to work on is not an easy task either. Thanks, Jerry

I use sewing machine oil. I don't know what is the right stuff to use though.

i use a mix of oil and teflon grease for almost 30 years. works great. i'm pretty sure my 60 speedo cable is still oe. i think sewing machine oil is way too thin!
