I have a set of 4 15 inch plain Jane 1956 desoto rims. I would like to put a set of 1961 Plymouth dog dish hupcaps on. Before I go looking for the hubcaps, does anybody know if the hubcaps will work on these rims?

Yes, they will as long as your '61 Plymouth is a full size car and not a Valiant. The Valiant used the smaller caps.

Awesome, I just picked up a set of NOS 15 inch whitewall bias continental tires. I know sometimes the dog dishes won't work on certain rims.

Don't the Desoto wheels need the clips to handle dog dishes?

Here are the pics of the actual wheels I'm using and the hubcaps I want to find and use. Those clips are they a rivet on or do they bolt on?

Those caps are the bigger size, but it looks like your wheels are type that don't have the nubs to mount them. Your car is probably a Fireflite as the full cap was standard on them. You will need to get a set of wheels with the nubs on them.

I found a set of 15s that fit the 61 Plymouth poverty caps. They came on this 61 ply 4dr HTP. Look to be original to the car.?
Didn't they offer 15s in 61 on police package cars?

Yes, police spec used 15" wheels with dog dish caps. But I wouldn't expect a 4dr hardtop to be used by the police department. They typically chose sedans because they are safer during a roll-over.
