I may be looking at having to do a rear main seal on my '59 DeSoto 383 (still need to 100% confirm that is the leak source, but it is definitely the rear of the motor as opposed to the front) and was wondering if anyone had any sort of recommendations, tips, tricks, etc. to make this job a little bit easier for the first time through. I couldn't find any threads on here related to this topic so any help is appreciated. The motor is in-vehicle.
