the auction ended with a winning bid of $4000.

If someone on the forum ended up with the car. In my files that keep on all the wagon projects located some pictures of the wagon from back when it was for sale before and when found in NM. Maybe this will be helpful to the new owner.

For the new owner, I have information on the car, and the correct VIN, too, which wasn't listed. The listing showed a combination of the model number and the engine number.

I'd post it if I had it, but I don't. I have a VIN tag picture but not the cowl tag.

Don't you just wish you had one of those science fiction movie-style photo enhancers that you could change a very pixelated photo into a crisp, readable photo? IrfanView tries but it just doesn't cut it.

So who buys a car, keeps it for five years, and never even unloads it to see what parts came along with the sale ? Much less tries to do anything with it, like getting it started ? Just shaking my head...

Actually he is indeed not a flipper , he a great guy and has plenty of money , so no need . He really 2as going to restore it , but his health
has declined and has a yard of cars and had visited relatives , so never unloaded the car , it just sat in his yard in Florida .
I was going to buy his 58 fire lite coupe he had from New Mexico also, but the sale fell through and I got sick anyway . People love making judgements when they know nothing of peoples lives
