Both the house and the car are stunning. I’d love to own both! I really like the color of the Chrysler. The 1960’s are the best! Astradome and boomerang tail lights!

Does anyone have a contact email for Alex or maybe he's on this list?

Alex sold me my first 300F many years ago and I'd like to get back in touch with him.

Thanks
Owen

Hmm thanks for sharing the information Bob, is Alex working on the green wagon.? I have been chasing a 60 Newyorker as you know but maybe Alex’s 300f could be a tempter.

Ray I’m in current contact with Alex , I think Alex has lost a bit of interest in the cars and if you offered him enough you may be able to buy his wagon he is working on . I’m not 100 percent on that but I’d contact him and check .
His 300 is expensive but it’s a lot less than he wanted for it a few years ago . It is possibly one if the best most authentic 300F around and was a don petty near perfect survivor to start with and has had every trinket NOS fitted . You won’t find many that can boast that . It’s in acrylic paint do it looks right , it’s not a super glossy 2 pack glossy mess like most are , if you like them like that .
Good luck . Call me if you want to know more . But text first as I Sm quite often napping as I’m sick . 0431 211 582

Hi James, Thanks for the heads up regarding Alex's wagon, I haven't spoken to him for a couple of years as I got the impression he was not wanting to sell which I appreciate. this does change things quite a bit. Sorry to hear you aren't well, and I certainly feel for you stuck in lockdown in Melbourne.

Thanks Ray , bad health hits us all eventually . I just didnt expect to be told id only live a short time at 45 years of age though . But thats life .

Yes id contact Alex and see what he says , but you would have to pay up whatever he is asking , which im guessing wont be cheap , but considering the current US prices on them and more people hunting them thn when you first started looking , anything would be cheap , as restored ones are nearly on par with 300fs now . As a quick guide whatever Alex did say , halve that in US dollars and that will roughly give you the US price . I think a good New Yorker coupe is the best value and car . Im not a fan of he intricate items on a 300F , the NY coupe is a simple single carb 413 and looks great and you have a better colour range and trim colours and wouldnbt be scared to park it anywhere like alex is with his 300F coupe

Good luck

Well Alex's car hit the Auction block last night and sold for $130,000 plus buyers premium, a good result you would think!

Seems like an absolute bargain when you see old Falcons and Holdens fetching $250k

hahaha, yeah that's true. I was thinking along the lines of its a 1960 car, and in 1960 nothing else compared to an American Chryco Corp' car in 1960 Australia. FB Holden's and XK Falcons aren't much competition compared to a 300F.
I checked my calendar,, yep its 2021
Steve.
