Hi folks.
Which change interval is advisable for gear oil?
My manual says 11,000 miles. Is this requirement still valid nowadays?

Tough to say, general condition, time all enter the formula. If you are unsure of the history, just do it.

If the fluid looks darker red or brownish, change it no matter how long it has been. If it continues to look bright red, like new fluid, you could leave it indefinitely.
