Can anyone photo shop the front end of a '61 Plymouth onto the body of a 1960 Plymouth 2 door sedan?

Hahahaha, Mike, you are a crack -up. Would you prefer a different front, maybe a GM? Steve.

This photoshop swap isn't easy without access to the two cars so that you can get the same angle on it. If the angle is off, it will look screwy. Also it helps if the cars are of similar shade. Anyway, so the best I can do is this unless you can provide some much better pictures to go off of.

Thanks Nathan, that was fun, but I think we all agree on no. Thanks for helping me scratch that itch.

Pretty good Serge, but I still don't think I'd want to build one.

That's awful. But you have the cars, do what you want. I'd hate to mess up a good 1960 with ugly 1961 parts.

Those stupid looking Rolls Royce hoods and decklids that people used to throw on those bugs in the 70’s looked just about as stupid as this.

While I would agree that the 61 definetly should have had fins from the factory, and looks 100 per cent better with them, the front end side sculpting of the 61 tenders don’t flow into the body of the 60 as “powerflite”s photoshop mock up shows. I still have no idea why all the other 1961 Chrysler makes had fins except the Plymouth. It’s just a big flat downward sweeping surface.

The bulging ridge on the fenders of the 61 Plymouth look like styling add-ons that don't blend with the rest of the body of any Forward Look Mopar. I'd like to shave them off and tuck the headlights closer together with headlight bezels of the 1963 Chrysler. Anyone care to attempt what that would look like? It seems like a manageable enough mild customization that couldn't hurt the already bizarre face of the 61. (I might even attempt it as I restore my 61 Fury.)

Maybe swapping the front end with one from the 1962-64 Dodge 880 would be the "cleanest" approach for a 60- 61 Plymouth?

Swapping a 62 Dodge 880 fender onto the 60-61 Plymouth probably have the same “bulge” bodyline problem.
Since, the fender used on the 1962 Dodge 880 models is a carry over of the same design used on the 61 Dodge.
Which in my opinion is what messes up the look of the 1961 dodge, especially on the polara models as the front to rear bodyline / moldings are “mis-aligned”. This is not as evident on the Phoenix / Seneca models.

Anyway the front fenders from a 63-64 Dodge 880 would be the ones that are smooth and possibly look cool swapped onto a 60-61 Plymouth.
