This might be so obvious that I feel like a dummy asking but..........

I need to remove this long side trim from the front seat bottom on my '56 Plymouth. I have removed the adjusting knob and one visible screw in the back but can't find any other fasteners; even looked under the seat with a mirror. Anybody have a clue how to remove it?

Lift up and remove the front seat bottom and all will be revealed (to you).

I had already tried that but it wouldn't budge, wound up having to use a pry bar to get it loose. Thanks for verifying the procedure.

Hmmm.....no pry bars should have been needed (in my mind). I assumed that pulling the seat bottom up would reveal the various screws that are holding the large trim piece to the seat frame.

Or NOT??

Gotta remember, at my age my "pull" ain't what it used to be. Yes, once the cushion was removed I found a screw that wasn't visible before.

If I remember right, there are 4 screws. One in the front and one on the side that are only accessible after removing the cushion. And there are 2 in the back as well.
