I have an 82 Imperial. The cruise control did not work, one of the problems
was a dirty contact in the turn signal lever. I exercised the switch a lot
and it started to make contact again. I exercised it with a ohm meter
across the contacts, the switch started to work sporadically, and then
normally. The car had been setting a lot in dads garge.
