they used about 20 belvederes and possibly furys painted red.as a side note
,i read there was a lot of resistance to sell when they found out there car
would be destroyed. they didnt have red furys back then omly white.they did
say it was a special order color though. also the book states it was a 4
door.they didnt make 4 door furys in 58.they saved about 3 and a couple of
the good ones were given away in promotional contests after the film.thank
g-d they didnt use imperials.
