Car(s) owned: I owned a 1973 Imperial LeBaron when I was in High School. Although I do not currently own an Imperial, I am considering purchasing another 73 Imperial.
Self-Introduction: Hello! I am a big fan of the fuselage era Imperials. I had a '73 LeBaron when I was in High School. My father bought it from a neighbor of ours in 1987 and we spent the better part of year restoring it.
The car was a very solid #3, 52,000 miles and well cared for. We gave it a new interior, top, new timing chain and gears, belts, hoses, tires and fresh coat of paint (dark blue). I would say it was a #2 car when we finished it. I drove the car until 1994 when I bought a new Chrysler.
I am an Executive Director at a retirement community in Northern Virginia and one day I would like to find a car like my first one. This time however I don't want to have to do allot of work to it and I need to find a garage to park it in.
If anyone has any idea of what a 1973 Imperial LeBaron with the leather interior in mint condition (minimal repaired rust) would sell for let me know.
