Actually, the 225/75 size in the Firestone FR721 is a 1-1/2" (maybe even
1-3/8") whitewall. The 1-5/8" whitewall is only offered in the 235/75 size,
which is perfect for Imperials and NYBs up to 1978. This tire is also XL
(extra load) rated, also a good thing for our full-figured cars. The tire is
the correct replacement for the original "wider whitewall" tire offered in
1976-78 (I still have one of the original 721s in my garage).
