window assist spring

from my experience the window assist spring will coil up when the 
electric window goes down , to assist the window on its travel upward , 
if the window is down I dont think you can get to any of the motor bolts 
anyway because the window is in the way . When I removed the motor with 
the window in the up position there was little tension on the spring .It 
might help  to mark the position of the gear before you remove the motor 
,so you know how much tension to put on the spring.
