got some free estimates today for some body work and paint job. People
recomended to me b&w body shop. I saw some of his work, and its very good.
He said there was 17 "things" to be done. he needs to work on panel,
hood. fender front left, fender front right, door shell front left. door
shell right. door shell rear both left and right. panel roof. penel quarter
left. panel quarter tight. lid, rear deck. and other things like taking
time to mask the car, taking off letters and puting them back taking off
trim etc. Which is 108 hours of labor, plus 10 dollars a day storage, is
230 dollars for 29 regular 8 hour days. labor comes out to 4,100.20!!!! It
all comes out to 2489.50 for the paint, and 2654.80 for the body work.
Grand total of 5,374.30 All I have to say is WOW. Is this a reasonable
price? much work is needed to be done on this car.
