Boosting a 6 volt battery with a 12 volt battery

A second 6 volt battery.


Battery A is in your car, 6 volt
Battery B is the second 6 volt
Battery C is the 12 volt car battery

Do not change any of the battery connections on either car.
Hook + on battery A to - on battery B
Hook + on battery B to + on battery C
Hook - on battery A to - on battery C
start the car...voila!
