Exhaust manifolds

Food of Thought:  When you purchase a engine over haul kit, they include a 
set of exhaust manifold gaskits.

Does your car have the cover flap that attaches/hangs on the fenders to cover 
the upper A-arms ?  If not, put them back on so that it will prevent splash 
to the exhaust manifolds ( & future cracking ).
