68 trunk release?

There might be a vacuum tank under the passenger front wheelwell.. and it
probably leaks if you don't have vacuum with the engine off.

Chris, are you sure it operates with the engine off?  My 68 LeBaron has
the  same vacuum operated unit, but it will not release with the engine off.
