scam playing along

I have a 71 Imperial for sale and a scam artist wanted to have a friend send me 
a money order for the car plus $5000 which I was to send to him in Nigeria, I 
played along and when I received the Money order I called the Bank 
it was drawn on. Ofcourse it was a fake. 
  The guy sent me a desperate message requesting the funds immediately
saying his wife had been killed in an auto accident. He even called me on the 
phone. It sounded like an international call . I hope it cost him some money. 
I turned the check and information over to the local sheriff for what it's
