'73 resto' project - TQ carb question

The ThermoQuad (TQ) is the plastic bodied carb.  The aluminum bodied carbs 
are AFBs and now AVS that they are making again (I can't remember if it's 
Carter or Edelbrock) The TQ is a good carb the resin body keeps the fuel 
cooler and the spreadbore gives good mpg (small primaries) and acceleration 
(big secondaries). Main problem is like any emissions era carb they are 
complex and therefore harder to tune and the plastic body warps, in which 
case you are out of luck.
