I have a 53 Custom Imperial that has the same setup I think, Mine runs, and 
seems to work well, but I want to investigate how to change the tranny 
fluid just to be safe.  If you get some info, keep me informed on this

there are pics of my car on the 53 page, that is as I bought the car, I 
have made some restoration progress since then.
