RE: IML: About Tom McCahill??

Many, many years ago, either Motor Trend or Road and Track did an extensive article on him. I have back issues to the early 50s, but wouldn't know where to start. I do remember it was right before he retired. I do recall that he was from the Northeast.

Right in front of me, I have a paperback (1963) entitled "What You Should Know About Cars" by Tom. It reveals nothing regarding his background.

He certainly liked Imperials. Chrysler estimated that his word alone was worith around 500 sales a year. Currell

Hi guys,

As we all know, Tom McCahill made many road tests about Chrysler
Corporation cars.
But does anyone know anything about the man himself? When did he live?
How was he educated?
What cars did he use in personal life? etc etc.. anything?? There's
big story about Virgil Exner on IOC, but
would it be possible to interview McCahills son/grandson ?!?!

Thanks,
Mika Jaakkola
