RE: IML: About Tom McCahill??

Many, many years ago, either Motor Trend or Road and Track did an extensive 
article on him. I have back issues to the early 50s, but wouldn't know where 
to start. I do remember it was right before he retired. I do recall that he 
was from the Northeast.

Right in front of me, I have a paperback (1963) entitled "What You Should 
Know About Cars" by Tom. It reveals nothing regarding his background.

He certainly liked Imperials. Chrysler estimated that his word alone was 
worith around 500 sales a year. Currell
