Thanks to Kenyon for the answer to my brake part cleaning question. I've got the rear drums in vinegar as I type. A quick inspection of the rear brakes this morning indicates that wheel cylinders will need replacement and I'm going along with the suggestions from the list and will likely do all six plus lines etc. Therefore I'm starting to look for sources and have gone through the suppliers listed on the website. It looks like Kanter and Bernbaum are the primary ones listed that will have these parts but the reviews for both vendors are less than glowing. My local NAPA shop can get everything but their a bit pricey: Kanter - $260 (all W.C.s and M.C.) Bernbaum - $280 (same) NAPA - $400 (same) Is NAPA likely to actually have the correct parts or would I be better off suffering with the poor service from Kanter or Bernbaum to be more likely to get the right stuff (and save some $$)? (Actually Kanter is only an hour away from me so I could probably deal with them in person which might be easier.) Also, once I spend all this time and money on this job, I'm planning on filling the system with silicone fluid to minimize problems in the future. Any suggestions on brand or source for that stuff? What's a good price? Thanks, Jeff '56 Sedan Trenton, NJ ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
