Re: IML: The Virtue of Greed, Ego, and Imperialism

Alice, you are looking at world, and the American influence and
imperialism,.from the wrong side of the looking glass.

Also from Webster's :
"a. [L., 'imperialis', from 'imperium', empire, supreme command, from
'impero' to command] Pertaining to and empire or emperor; pertaining to
supreme authority or to one who wields it; sovereign; supreme; suitable for
an emperor; of superior excellence"

Except for the last "of superior excellence", the remainder does, indeed,
describe the attitude and actions of the United States toward the world
since the Spanish-American War.

Go back and read my post on 23/03/05. You have much to learn about the
world outside the United States and the policies of the United States
towards that world.

See you in the Imperial Salon.
