Good to see you all again! To recap about myself, I am 31, I bought my first Imperial in 1994 out of a junkyard in Maryland. I kept it for 4 years in WV at my dads place. the whole time no windshield or cover. Just an occasional tarp they'd throw over it AFTER a big storm. I shipped it out here and found out the body was trashed. Holes in the fenders big enough to throw a football threw covered by a lot of bondo. I only had 2 of the body/frame mounts left. I bought an old Le Baron body off of Kenyon Wills that was stripped completely inside except seats and part of a dash and got started swapping and redoing an Imperial. All the stuff I had was for an Imperial custom, and the seam around the Le Baron window was bubbled, soo.... Needless to say I now have an Imperial Hybrid. Now dont hate me for that, I still love the Le Baron back windows, but it was an issue with! time and money. I didn't have the cash to let someone res tore it for me, and the money I did have was taken in the seats reupholstering, engine and tranny rebuild, and the paint and body work(another story). It is definitely an amateur restoration, but at least I can drive it and I still get "thumbs-up", and smiles on the road. -- Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
