I got a copy of the build sheet with all info from Daimler-Chrysler for my 1955 sedan. I think it cost $35-40 or so.

How on earth do you know what date your car was built? I havn't been able to find a build sheet for my '56, so I'm sort of in the dark, but the VIN is C56-8149. From what I've gathered from previous posts, I'm guessing my car is quite late in the model year, say May or June. Am I close?
