60 and 61 interchange. 62-63 interchange with each other. To get the alternator you'll likely need to scavenge from 61's, as most '60's are generators. If you don't need it this moment, I am eyeing a 61 engine core, and prefer the generator setup, so would be willing to part with the manifolds for the cost of shipping and some patience, otherwise a call to the usual suspects will probably yeild some maniufolds. I would also suggest looking at the grey manifold paint that Eastwood offers. I've had a can on the shelf for about a year and just did up the 70 and 72 over the weekend. Results were super! Made the engine look 10 years younger!! It goes on with a sponge brush and was a no-hassle thing. It survived 2 hours of driving so far with no discoloration. Pewter grey and it "almost" looks like i have new manifolds. -Kenyon --- richard burgess <lecrown60@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi Folks, > > The manifolds on my '60 Crown look like lava rock > they are so pitted.
