Re: IML: "Sin City" Imperial

From: Mike Pittinaro <mechimike@xxxxxxxxx>

It was a hardtop, a LeBaron perhaps, looking at the
roof? I just remember wondering why the character
kept asking the other women to fetch him a "hardtop,
with a decent engine and a big trunk" when the
Imperial was sitting right behind him! Instead he
ends up driving the corpses to the tar pits in a
thunderturd.

Mike, haven't you ever killed somebody and had to dispose of the corpses? It isn't a good move to use the victim's car when you are trying to distance yourself from the crime.

Was it just me, or did all the cars in that movie look like computer generated images and not real autos? If so, how cool would it be to have the CG image of that 57/58 Imp for the club website!

There were a ton of CG effects in that movie. That's how the majority of the movie was black and white but elements were in color. It is also why the destruction of the cars and having people jump on an Imperial roof didn't bother me. I'm pretty sure they didn't really damage much. It was strange how everybody had 50's cars, but they also had cell phones.
