Re: IML: June 2005 Automobiles Mag.

Automobiles (with an 's') is a British magazine that has quite a few
articles on pre-war II British and some European cars. The articles are
very well written and have some great period photos and illustrations to go
along with the articles. Have never seen an article on an Imperial,
although they had a nice one on the post-war Renault 4CV/750. The closest
thing I have seen to Mopar articles (although I do admit I am not a regular
reader) were two photos from Australia showing a couple of late 1940's
Australian-built DeSoto Diplomats. Regular readers may have missed them as
the editor called them "Mercury".

Collectible Automobile is an American publication that puts out nothing but
great stuff. I have yet to read an article that was not well researched or
written.

Are you talking about Collectible Automobile magazine? "Automobile"
magazine is indeed a new car and future cars mag. I have not heard of
"Automobiles" magazine. Collectible Automobile magazine has the extensive
article on 1960 - 63 Imperials.

I picked my copy up at Barnes & Noble, after some friends called to tell me
about the pic being in the Mag. The Mag. features old cars and has some
great Pics of them. In the June issue is a big article of the 60-63
Imperials with some good info about them. After I arrive in Tucson Az in
August or Sept. I'll place a subscription for home delivery.

I'm not familiar with Automobiles mag. I get Automobile, but it is a new
car type mag. Tell me more about the mag and where I might find one.

Congratulations!

Say Henry H.
Forgot to mention that one of the other Luxury brand I collect is #10, pg.
27 shown in the latest issue. First car I've had in any Mag. so far. Just
too bad it's not any of the 4 Imperials I drive. Oh well, I've a few years
left yet, I hope?
