RE: IML: KYB shocks for 1960

 > -----I have seen many posts about the excellent experience with KYB shocks.  The product catalogue only lists back to 1967.  Can anyone recommend the KYB model and part no. [s] that will work on  1960 4 door?

I just did this on my '59 Imp.  Your '60 would be the same.
KG4507 on the front and KG5511 on the rear.   The front ones have a metal collar that the bottom bolt goes through.  This collar is a little wide and won't fit in the bottom arm.  I used the dremel tool with an abrasive cut off blade and removed a little bit from each side and then it fit right in there.  Just don't get it to hot and mess up the rubber bushing.  All in all a very easy job.
I  haven't put the back ones in yet but they look like a bolt in fit.

I got them from www.coximport.com and was satisfied with the service.  $37.98ea from them.
