The stock brakes are marvelous when rebuilt and
adjusted correctly.  The bendix units are the best
drums ever installed.

Why are you inclined to swap them?

There may be a company making conversions, but I'm not
aware of anyone marketing one for our cars.

My '64 will slap the passenger into the dash if
applied agressively.  We've had this discussion here
before, and the main advantage to discs is fade
resistsnce, but these cars aren't made to be put
through repeated high speed emergency stops to begin
with...
