I've seen one of both in that past couple of months.I saw an 80's Imperial 
a few weeks ago. The first one in several years. I think the design still 
holds up very well today. On the other hand, the Seville stood out in a 
rather strange way. This is IMHO of course.

I disagree with your assessment of the Bill Mitchell-designed second 
generation Seville. IMHO, the design, if you like the Roll Royce Hooper 
body look, is quite, well... interesting. I don't like that black rub 
strip on the doors and fenders, though.
The Imperial also is attractive, but in a different way. It's a coupe, and 
the Seville is a four door, remember.
Both designs are fine in an '80s kind of way, and innovative in their own 
fashion. IMHO.
