I also have considered that maybe it was'nt flexing but brute force instead, but in either case they still tend to break, and there will always  be passengers who are a bit rough on them. With all the superior quality parts chrysler made for these cars, I cant figure out why they did'nt make the handles solid in the first place instead of hollow.
