A 1962 Imperial two-door, with gleaming black finish passed a
knowing car person late at night on Interstate 5 in Southern California over the
weekend past. The Imperial was so impressive, she was paced for a time so
as to provide a car-type passenger with additional viewing time plus
wheelbase, engine displacement, and final drive ratio as issued stock 43 years
ago. All this was communicated with enthusiasm and genuine awe at the
Imperial's shape, size, beauty, and road presence. Congratulations to the
driver (and hopefully owner).
