Son of a Gun.... I hadn't even heard the term "Triple Black " until I read
it here on our very own IML.
I thought it meant a ......well...really black paint as in a description
you would read in an Imperial brochure.

Just a friendly FYI, if a car has a different color interior than its
exterior, it can¹t be ³triple black.²
The three elements of a triple color are paint, roof (vinyl on a hardtop,
cloth on a convertible, etc.), and interior.
All three would have to be black for a car to be triple black.
I have a friend with a slicktop '67 LeBaron in black with a blue interior.
Pretty combo, very elegant, especially with no vinyl roof!
